GREEN EURO-MP BRINGS MIDDLE-EAST OIL TO HAMPSHIRE - 22 April, 2004 - HAMPSHIRE'S Green Party MEP Caroline Lucas is to sell fairly-traded Palestinian olive oil in Southampton next week to highlight the reality of daily life in the occupied territories. Dr Lucas will be selling the oil at a public meeting organised by Southampton Stop the War Coalition on the Palestine-Israel situation. Dr Lucas will tell the meeting about the suffering she witnessed during a fact-finding mission to the Holy Land to see the "security wall" being built by the Israeli government.

MEP CALLS FOR CALM AFTER CRAWLEY TERROR ARRESTS - 6 April, 2004 - GREEN Party Euro-MP Caroline Lucas will meet religious leaders from Crawley' s Muslim and Christian communities tomorrow to discuss ways to calm heightened religious and racial tension in the town following last week's arrest of nine men accused of planning a terrorist attack.
